SCHOOL PRAYERS

O God, you are the truth and the origin of all knowledge. Bless our studies which we consecrate to you, Enlighten our minds, strengthen our memories, and direct our wills towards what is right. Grant us to seek the truth always and make us truly wise. Bless also our parents and our teachers.

O God, infinite wisdom and the source of all knowledge grant that we may remember what we have learnt. We offer you our work and endeavours, our failures and successes. Forgive us our shortcomings and give us the courage to follow always the path of truth.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done / on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us;
And do not let us fall into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Bless us O Lord and these your gifts which we are
about to receive from your bounty
Saint John Bosco pray for us

We give you thanks Almighty God for all the benefits which we have received from your bounty.

Oh St. John Bosco, full of confidence, I turn to you asking you to intercede for me. Help me to lead a good and happy life. May I always be a help to others, avoid sin and live happily.

Bring down the blessings of God on those who are in my thoughts and prayers now, and obtain for me the special graces which I now ask..... (Pause). I trust in His love and mercy to grant what He knows is good for me.

Oh St. John Bosco, send God's blessings on my country, parents, teachers, all my brotheren and myself. Amen.
